Services to Business are happy to help you through the process of recruiting an apprentice. If you haven’t already been in contact with us, please call us today on Tel: 01483 44 85 30. The steps you will go through to take on an apprentice will be:

Step 1

Speak to one of our Development Officers to discuss your exact training requirements. Our Development Officers work with specific industry sectors, so have the skills and experience to understand your workforce development needs.

Step 2

One of our Development Officer will meet with you to discuss the structure of the Apprenticeship programme and complete a checklist for your organisation's health and safety procedures.

Step 3

If a suitable apprentice has not already been identified, the recruitment process will start.

Step 4

Services to Business will support you in recruiting a new apprentice. As well as being interviewed by your organisation, all apprentices are assessed by Services to Business to ensure that the Apprenticeships is suitable for them.

Step 5

Once a suitable candidate has been interviewed and offered employment, the student will be invited in for an induction at your organisation

Step 6

Employee start their Apprenticeship.

Step 7

Our Development Officer will carry out progress reviews with the student every 10 weeks and seek your feedback.
