Redundancy Support for You
Services to Business is offering you the opportunity to get ahead in the job market and develop your skills to either keep your job, or find a new one.
If you are either at risk of redundancy, have recently been made redundant or are unemployed and claiming Job Seekers Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance, you could be eligible for FREE* support and training courses.
Make the Transition:
The programme starts with up to two days of short workshops focusing on getting practical advice on job hunting and refreshing CV and application skills. You’ll learn how to make the most of the skills and experience you’ve already got, use your CV as a marketing tool and how to perform your best at interview.
The programme then continues with a choice of:
If you want to try something completely different, our Routes into Work programmes offer you a ten day introduction into working in a new industry. Choose from: Childcare, Construction, Health Care, Hospitality or Retail.
A ten day preparation course for starting an Apprenticeship in one of the following industries: Business, Childcare, Construction, Health Care, Hospitality or Retail.

Leadership and Management
If you're looking for a more senior role, the programme offers a package of short workshops delivered over five days:
Personal Development: Planning your Personal Development, Negotiation Skills, Presentation Skills, Assertiveness Skills ,Presentation Skills, Assertiveness Skills, Confidence Building/Delivering Excellence in Customer Service.
Business Start up Focus: Business Planning, Sales Skills, Marketing Skills, Introduction to Bookkeeping.
Management Development: Leadership Skills, Managing Change, Performance Management, Motivating the Team, Effective Delegation.
Or, choose an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualification in either Team Leading or First Line Management, delivered across 8 days.
PRINCE2® Project Management
We are now able to offer, for a limited time only, our PRINCE2® Project Management| 5-day Intensive Foundation and Practitioner Course, as part of this Support for Redundancy initiative, at the subsidised cost of £650. (Full cost normally £1450).
