Terms and Conditions

Every care has been taken to ensure that information is accurate at the time of publishing. Programmes, facilities and other arrangements are regularly reviewed and can be subject to change. Accordingly, the College reserves the right to cancel, delay, suspend or modify in any way the programmes as required, due to circumstances beyond our control.

For courses based at the College, or on premises provided by the College, Services to Business at Guildford College agrees to:

  •  Provide suitable accommodation for the purpose of, and during the period of, the training course.
  •  Supply an instructor to run the training course. Supply where agreed, the aids for the purposes of the course.
  •  Supply where agreed, each participant with materials required for the course.
  •  Supply refreshments as outlined in the pre-course information.

 For courses held at the clients own premises the Client agrees to:

  •  Provide suitable accommodation for the purposes of, and during the period of, the training course.
  •  This accommodation shall be provided free of any expenses to Services to Business  and shall be complete with all necessary furniture, fittings and audio visual equipment as required.
  •  Where appropriate, arrange at its own expense refreshments during the training course.
  •  Ensure details of all participants attending the training are provided to Services to Business when requested.

Payment, Cancellation and Refunds

Whilst every effort will be made to run a course according to the published date(s), Services to Business reserves the right to cancel or vary the date(s) should this become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. If no alternative can be agreed then Services to Business will refund any course fee paid.

The fee payable is the fee applicable at the point of registration. Where fees are discounted due to a special offer these shall be valid up to the date of expiration.

Course fees are payable, in full, at least two weeks in advance of the course start date. Your place on the course is not guaranteed until payment has cleared. Invoicing can only be arranged if the start date of the course takes place more than two weeks from the date of receiving your booking. Purchase order number must be completed on your booking form if they are a requirement by your company. Alternatively you can pay by credit/debit card, bank transfer or visit our Information and Guidance Department and pay with cash.

Substitutions, subject to agreement by Services to Business, may be made up to 10 working days prior to the course start date. All notification of cancellations / substitutions must be made in writing to employerenquires@guildford.ac.uk.

Once the place(s) on the course have been booked, a cancellation fee will apply if you cancel the booking or do not attend.

 The following cancellation fees apply:

Amount of notice of cancellation before course is scheduled to commence

  •  Less than 5 working days 100% of total fee will be charged
  •  Less than 10 working days 50% of total fee will be charged
